Monash Children’s Hospital, part of Monash Health is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated children’s health services, with more than 30 specialist services and programs.
We care for more than 100,000 children every year.
Monash Children’s Hospital is part of Monash Health, Victoria’s largest healthcare service and one of only four accredited Academic Health Science Centres in Australia. We have access to the world’s leading medical minds which are turning research findings into better health outcomes for our patients.
Monash Children’s Hospital is a network of paediatric healthcare services across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital.
We have Victoria’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide leading paediatric services in Rehabilitation, Oncology, Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Palliative Care.
Monash Children’s Hospital is also the Victorian Referral Centre for many low-volume and high-complex cases. Our services are linked to an adult service, allowing us to provide transition-of-care as children grow older and move to an adult service.
We deliver specialised, innovative, family-centred care and believe strongly in putting patients first and striving for exceptional care and outstanding outcomes.
We are building a new hospital for the children of Victoria, set to open in 2017:

Dandelions, with an abundance of parachute seeds, have the ability to endure even in the toughest of times – much like the sick babies and children we treat. For centuries, dandelions have carried our wishes for health, wealth and happiness.
Every day, our families make a wish that the Monash Children’s Hospital will return their beautiful child home to their loved ones.
And when the future is out of our hands, our doctors and nurses share their wish.
The dandelion is our symbolic reminder that at the Monash Children’s Hospital, we make wishes come true every day.
