Visiting Monash Children’s Hospital (Clayton)

If you are travelling by train, the closest railway station to Monash Medical Centre is Clayton, which is on the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines. The hospital is a five minute walk from the station along Clayton Road.
If you are travelling by bus, bus routes 631, 703 and 733 stop outside of the main entrance of the hospital.

On-site visitor car parking is available 24 hours a day and is accessible on your left-hand side when entering via the Clayton Road entrance.
Upon entering, take your ticket from the ticket box at the boom gate and the gate will open.
Fees for parking apply and are capped at $25 per day. Payment is made using either cash or credit card at the payment station prior to returning to your car.
Street parking around the hospital is very limited and is mostly restricted to one or two hours duration. Parking inspectors patrol the area regularly.
A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available for people with disabled parking permits.
Paediatric emergency services are located within the emergency departments at Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital, and operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
After hours access
The main reception will close at 8pm. After-hours access to Monash Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre is via the emergency department.
