Parking
Patients and visitors can park in the public multilevel car park and in front of Monash Children’s Hospital (enter via Clayton Road entrance). Parking is available 24 hours a day.

Upon entry to the multilevel car park, press the gate control button to obtain a ticket which allows access (via boom gates) to both the multilevel car park and the car park area directly in front of Monash Children’s Hospital.

Fees for parking apply and are capped at $28 per day. Monash Health also offers a weekly ticket at a reduced rate which allows parkers to come and go as many times as they need within a seven-day period. These can be purchased at the automated pay stations.

Paying for your parking ticket

We apologise for any inconvenience while we finalise our car park facilities for the new Monash Children’s Hospital.

Currently, payment for your parking ticket can be made via three ways:

  1. Pay using your credit card at the exit boom gates of the multilevel car park.
  2. Pay using cash or credit card at the automated pay stations located near the lifts on ground floor in the multilevel car park.
  3. Park in the ‘last chance to pay’ parking bays (located on the left hand side as you drive into the multilevel car park from Monash Children’s Hospital) and pay for your ticket at the automated pay stations.

Street parking around the hospital is very limited and is mostly restricted to one or two hours duration. Parking inspectors patrol the area regularly.

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available for people with disabled parking permits.

There is a drop off and pick up zone outside the main entrance of both Monash Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Please note, there is no car access from Dixon Street.

For more information on visitor car parking, please visit the Monash Health website.
